Get to know your hair<\/h4>\n<p>Start by knowing your hair type in order to use the right care and products.\u00a0The\u00a0Internet is of course the first place we think of but don\u2019t hesitate to explore other sources such as reading books on the subject or simply asking specialized hairdresser\u2019s advice.<\/p>\n<h4>2. Find\u00a0some\u00a0inspiration<\/h4>\n<p>It\u2019s so\u00a0encouraging to see other people who\u2019ve been through\u00a0this \u00ab unknown \u00bb journey. A lot of celebrities such as\u00a0Taraji P. Henson, Janelle\u00a0Monae\u00a0or\u00a0Alicia Keys\u00a0proudly exhibit\u00a0their natural hair on social media but so do a lot of\u00a0ordinary\u00a0women\u00a0!\u00a0The\u00a0hashtag\u00a0:\u00a0#Nappyhairstyle\u00a0is\u00a0very popular and has helped me to discover\u00a0different hairstyles.<\/p>\n<h4>3. Try, try, try<\/h4>\n<p>After long hours of research, it&#8217;s time to practice. As previously\u00a0said, social\u00a0media\u00a0is a\u00a0real gold\u00a0mine.\u00a0You will find uncountable hairstyle tutorials on Instagram and YouTube. The main thing is to follow the steps and to\u00a0experiment\u00a0until you\u00a0find\u00a0your signature\u00a0hairstyle\u00a0that\u00a0suits you.<\/p>\n<h4>4. Dare the unthinkable!<\/h4>\n<p>Do you want to dive\u00a0head first in a swimming pool?\u00a0Do it! The most\u00a0important thing to remember is to let your\u00a0hair\u00a0free\u00a0in\u00a0its\u00a0movements.\u00a0By letting\u00a0it\u00a0out and to behave like it wants, you\u2019ll learn to understand your hair better.\u00a0There is no need to\u00a0get stressed and to worry about\u00a0how to manage\u00a0it\u00a0afterward because going natural is a form of\u00a0freedom.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Who is Aline ?<\/h4>\n<p>I\u2019m a Communications student and \u201cNatural\u201d since a little more than two years, I like to share tips and tricks collected during my travels.
